Get the most out of your Budget 2025 goodies
With the government announcing Budget 2025, find out how to stretch your Budget 2025 goodies in our Tanjong Pagar
You’ve heard the news, you’ve seen the graphics. By now you know what to do: whip out your phone, open your family’s chat and pin the RedeemSG link to the top. You are ready to spend your CDC vouchers that were just announced in the Budget 2025.
CDC vouchers, ActiveSG credits, Singapore Culture Pass – these are just some of the things you can expect in 2025.

But what should you spend them on? Here are some tips and tricks to stretch your dollar or spend them in fun and creative ways!
Dine on a Dime
HDB and GovTech have a nifty website to tell you where all the affordable meal options are.
How affordable? $3.50 for a meal and $1.20 for a drink. It’s hard to beat such good deals.
No more being surprised at how much your meal costs when you walk up to pay. Just key in your address into the website and be guaranteed to find $3.50 meals wherever you are.
A good way to find places that offer these budget meals search close to transport hubs. For example, did you know that within 2km of Redhill MRT, there are more than 20 locations with budget meals? Eateries like Chang Chee Mee Wah at Blk 75 and Yat Kee Eating House at Blk 55D are within 500m of the train station and offer discounted hot meals and drinks.

But maybe you crave a home cooked meal. Here’s another way to stretch your CDC vouchers.
Reduced to Clear
Hiding somewhere in most supermarkets is their “reduced to clear” section, sporting eye-popping discounts that you can buy with your CDC supermarket vouchers. There is nothing wrong with those items, just that they might be close to expiry.
If you are going to eat them quickly, they are as good as new. Even better actually, since they are often at a 50% discount or better. You can check out supermarkets like Cold Storage in multiple places around our Tanjong Pagar, including One Holland Village and Great World City.
Just walk around your nearest supermarket and ask, “Do you have a ‘reduced to clear’ section?”
Visit the Dentist
To keep eating delicious food, you might want to keep your teeth healthy. Did you know that CDC vouchers can also be used to pay for dental care?
Just use the GoWhere site and key in the keyword “dentist”. For extra convenience, you can look for dentists located a short walk away from the MRT – such as the one near Buona Vista Station – where you can spend your CDC vouchers.
In fact, CDC vouchers can be used on all sorts of services, just use the same GoWhere site and search for the service you need near you!
Expand your family’s sporting horizons
It’s not just the usual swim and gym passes today. Besides visiting ActiveSG gyms like the one in Enabling Village, ActiveSG offers a wide range of sports and activities for you to enjoy.
Today, you can go for classes as varied as aqua Tabata, extreme skating, and of course, pickleball.
It’s not just for yourself though. You can even use ActiveSG credits to pay for your kids’ academy and training.
Looking for something to do over the weekend? You can book a pickleball court or go for a swim at Delta Sports Centre.

A Budget for Everyone
This year’s Budget is not just for our generation today, but for future generations to come.
As PM Wong observed in his closing paragraphs,
It is a Budget for all Singaporeans. Because when Singapore thrives, every citizen benefits. Every Singaporean is supported from birth to old age, with more support given to those with less.
No one is left behind.
