Thanks to everyone’s support, we can now move forward with our improvement plans for this charming neighbourhood.

Our team from Tanjong Pagar – Tiong Bahru Division has a comprehensive plan for Kim Tian Road’s Neighbourhood Renewal Programme. Its goal is to improve aesthetics, convenience and connectivity at Blocks 6-8, 122-125, 120B and 125A Kim Tian Road.

 

The exhibition

 

The plan cannot proceed unless it has support from at least 75% of Kim Tian Road residents.

 

To gather this support, held an NRP exhibition at the void deck of Block 125 Kim Tian Road from 14 to 16 Mar 2025.

 

Throughout the three days of the exhibition, our team was on hand to support Tanjong Pagar – Tiong Bahru Adviser Ms Indranee Rajah, engaging with residents, answering their questions and noting down their feedback.

 

 

75% support locked in!

 

It was a fruitful weekend as we managed to secure most of the 75% resident approval required for the NRP to proceed. 

 

 

Over the following few weeks, the team continued to diligently reach out and engage with residents and managed to quickly get it over the line.

 

 

Moving forward

 

Next, we will carefully review all the feedback we received from residents at the exhibition and during the engagements after it. Wherever possible, we will adjust the plan to accommodate their requests.

 

After that, the work will begin to bring the plan to life.
